Bhagavan's Birthday celebrations

Kottayam District is going to celebrate our beloved Bhagavan's 85th year of advent to this Earth on 30th and 31st of October. 





On 30th October evening, there will be a Sangeetha Sandhya by Kavalam Sreekumar


Eminent personalities viz. 
T.N.Seshan(Former chief election commissioner),


Kadannappally Ramachandran(Devaswom Minister),


 Jose K Mani(MP),


 Thomas Chazhikkadan(MLA),


Jayakumar IAS(Addl.Chief secretary, Govt of Kerala), 


Shaji Kailas(Film director) and


Padmabhushan P.Susheela(Playback singer)


 are participating in the cultural meet on 31st of October.

    sairam...with lots of pranams at the lotus feet of our Saima, let me point out a flaw in the function held. Our Swami has told many times not to waste much money for the programmes, right?! Swami had told this clearly in the October 2008 Sanathana Sarathi edition, page no.14. From what I saw today, I think a lot more money has spend for decorations and arrangements, that can be used to feed the needy, that can be used to take care of forlorns, that can be used to save mankind and like!. I feel a bit sad for this..!Just give a spark of thought in this! Sairam...

    @sai puvi...Sairam,me too had same thoughts in mind during the function.But these thoughts vanished after the lunch session on 31st. There was a miracle during the function. On 31st, lunch was arranged for only 750 people,and do u know the number of people who came for lunch that day...it comes around 1600!!!And there was surplus food even after all thos people took prasadam. It was Swami's birthday celebration and He is the Host.He knows how to feed his children,we are just instruments in His Divine Hand.

    @arunji: such situations had happened a lot of times in our samithi.!:) Wherever we do something in swami's name,swami will be there...! that's swami's kindness and care...!:)
