Deer released from its cage

In 1976, a small number of deer were brought from the Madhumalai forest to Brindavan, and the grounds were cordoned off for the deer cage. Everyday, Swami would feed the deer with apples. A small cage inside also had a few partridges and parrots. Some students were blessed with the opportunity of maintaining the cages.
One day, as Bhagavan was coming towards us after feeding the deer, looking at our faces pressed against the mesh, with a twinkle in His eye He indicated the students and told an elderly devotee, "These are two legged 'dear'. Those are My four legged deer. All are dear to me." We were thrilled by His statement.

Years later, it was a hot summer day in 1988. The time was around 2:30 p.m. In the place of the old bungalow, now stood the new Trayee Brindavan. A few boys observed a strange spectacle. A female deer was looking longingly up at the window of the rooms on the first floor, where Bhagavan lived. There is only one language - the language of the heart. What prayers the deer (which was among the first deer to come to Brindavan) addressed to the Lord, we shall never know. But the response was swift.

The doors of Trayee opened, and Bhagawan walked quickly down the marble steps, across the hot marble floor, instructing the students to get some apples. He entered the cage and patted the deer affectionately. As the fruits were brought on a tray,
Swami fed the deer with His own hands. The deer ate the apple pieces quickly.

Swami finished feeding it, and after patting it lovingly, He left. After a few minutes the deer collapsed. Its hour had come. The Lord had entered the cage to release the soul encaged as a deer. Had he not said, "All are dear to me."

SAIMA IN ALL WALKS OF MY LIFE

AN INCIDENT DURING PUTTAPARTHI STAY ON 22nd OF DECEMBER 2010:-

I and my sister, Sruthi, reached Puttaparthi around 5pm on 21st Dec 2010. I prayed Swami for just one dharshan when I started from home! We got accomodation in Shed No.4, meant for ladies only. As we were informed that Swami didn't come for evening dharshan that day, we didnt go to Kulwant hall but arranged our baggages in the shed and went for dinner. Luckily, we got some cardboard pieces to cover the broken floor where we were meant to sleep for two days. I and Sruthi lied down side by side and were sharing memories and thoughts related to Swami. Meanwhile, Sruthi said, "Why can't Swami make someone to clean this shed. See, how dusty and webby it is?!" I repliedd what came to my mind, "Just visualize we are lying down in Swami's room and swami is lying on the bed beside". Our conversation ended there and we were taken to the dream world. The next day when we came to shed after morning dharshan time and after having breakfast, we were astonished to see something! Someone was cleaning the shed! See, how quick Swami is, in his reply; in his action. On the same day Swami blessed us with a ravishing dharshan at evening.

There's a story behind this poster, which is interesting because "God Is" is one of the three aphorisms being used this year to study what Swami says that He has come into this world to give us, the other two aphorisms being "I am I" and "Love All Serve All".
On 25 March 2010, two Sai devotees were on the subway in New York City. They were new to the subway experience, so they carefully watched as the train moved from one station to another. They chatted happily, but kept a look out so as not to miss their stop.
But, just when they thought they were about to reach their destination, the train suddenly seemed to have passed their stop and brought them to 102nd street. TheyI quickly realized that they had missed (even when they were paying close attention) their stop and needed to get on another train going back downtown to 98th street.
They got out, walked over to the opposite platform for another train going back just one stop. As they got inside this train, to their complete astonishment, they spotted this poster with beautiful colors showing in a very bold print the words- GOD IS in the center pasted on the train wall. It was amazing, because in the past two weeks they had been discussing "God Is" in their study circle. They immediately knew they had missed their stop so they could discover this Poster, GOD IS !!!
Upon inquiring, they found that about 1000 subway trains will be carrying this ad as a spiritual drive from the Trinity Church on Times, with the goal to remind everyone of God's imminent presence.
